Tsawwassen is a tranquil residential setting with beaches on the east and west sides, a border crossing to Point Roberts, WA to the south, and a highway to downtown Vancouver to the north. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe with many amenities and recreational facilities including Winskill Aquatic and Fitness Centre and an outdoor skatepark in Grauer Park.
Tsawwassen Real Estate
Tsawwassen Real Estate has the distinction of being set in a prime community. Gorgeous waterfront homes have been developed over the years along the waterfront and on Pebble Hill and English Bluff. In Beach Grove on the edge of Boundary Bay, modest cottage-style homes that were often summer residences are regularly replaced with larger, more lavish homes for year round living. Over time, condominiums and more affordable single family homes have been built in central Tsawwassen.
The Tsawwassen First Nations is a very progressive and self-sustainable band that lives on over 700 acres of land on the southern Strait of Georgia in Tsawwassen. Tsatsu Shores, Stahaken and Tsawwassen Beach Lots are leasehold market housing projects developed by the First Nations. Plans are underway for a ‘mega-mall’ and plans for more housing in the coming years.
